Sav’s Restaurant & Gourmet Ice Cream has recently started converting their former parking lot into a beautiful outdoor dining lot—Jake’s Garden—named after the late Jake Gibbs. Jake was a beloved Lexington Councilman and a dear friend of Sav’s. Not only was he a loyal customer, but he also helped Sav with city business issues. After Jake passed away, Sav envisioned Jake’s Garden at the restaurant, where customers, friends, and family can share and enjoy meals outdoors, surrounded by some of Jake’s favorite trees and plants.
